You can't trust them.
RottenTomatoes: So many lousy movies are rated highly. And a couple of the best movies I've seen in a while were rated very poorly. Usually enjoyable movies seem to be rated about 45%....and crappy movies are rated about 80%. I can't put exact figures on this....but I CAN tell after seeing a movie approximately what the Tomato-Score will be. They rate based on political and social issues, and on a few other things. But NOT on entertainment value. Usually. I'm hearing that the studios try to pay for good reviews too.
IMDB: They just ended their discussion-boards recently. It was the only good site online to discuss movies....and they ended it. Does that make sense?? Yes....because now the Hollywood journalists and critics will be able to dictate to us. And we can't respond. We can't call them on their LIES and biases anymore. Also, I don't trust the IMDB scores anymore. Absolute garbage movies get rated 8 and higher. A good movie....I can kinda tell where the score will be....but 'good' does NOT correspond to a high rating. I think it's rigged.
