Jornell Manns had a huge game and led his team to end his regular season career in front of the home crowd in Mansfield's 54-6 victory over Madison... Remember, he was doing this with a continuous running clock in the 2nd half and a defense stacked to try to stop him.. He had 4 TD runs and 2 TD catches... Plus a 2 point conversion.....He had 13 carries for 148 yards and TD runs of 2 yards, 40 yards, 9 yards and 20 yards........Had 6 catches for 102 yards with TD catches of 60 and 32 yards.... Off to the playoffs NEXT SATURDAY night for a yet to be determined opponent.
Fantastic year for Jornell as he ended the season with 35 TDS. In this game, he had 4 TDs by halftime. Certainly one of the best athletes that school has ever produced... It has been reported that he comes from a very good family... Excited for his Gopher future.
