Link: Junior college wideout starting to hear from Gophers
Kamathi Holsey is a JUCO receiver that has received some preliminary interest. He's having a great year, so maybe he's a late-blooming JUCO prospect that often pick up a ton of interest in November/December. But right now, Minnesota is very happy with the three and a half (Tyler Johnson being the half because we don't really know where he'll end up.) they have and don't need another receiver.
But who knows. They also just sent Reeves and Sawvel to watch Hunter Broersma, so there seems to be at least some interest in a fourth receiver. What's odd about that though is that going into this recruiting class, I think the plan was to only take one or two receivers. Even if Snelson were to go elsewhere, this class would still have Howard, Hmielewski, and maybe Tyler Johnson, so they'd still have the amount of receivers they wanted. Maybe we can credit this to recruiting just being a fluid process and/or always having backup plans.
