Meyers likes Minnesota a lot, but he's also hearing from several bigger schools down south. Mississippi State is the only one to offer so far but more could come. I feel comfortable saying that Minnesota is #2 right now behind Mississippi State.
Another factor that could be in play is that I got the sense that Meyers wants to stay close to home. He went back and forth on that subject when I asked him about it.
All that being said, he does like the Gophers a lot. Minnesota is definitely in the hunt for Meyers.
