Max and Gophers/TCU

This is going to come across as negative, but I don't mean it that way. It's just reality to me, nothing else.

Just read an article that said two things that are attracting Max to TCU are the smaller campus and the weather. He has been to TCU once, they have never visited his school, never seen him play. He has been to Minnesota 4 times, the coaches have been to his school more than once and have watched him play more than once.

I'm assuming the whole issue of coaches/relationships has to be considered equal, if these are important issues. Having said that, I was under the impression Max and his family were looking beyond football to the bigger picture. Size of school and weather, to me, aren't bigger picture issues. If Max chooses TCU, I think his skills will be missed, but I won't be concerned over any other aspect of this recruitment. The Gophers did a terrific job with Max, and the two issues mentioned are beyond their control. If this doesn't go the Gopher's way, move on, keep Rowing The Boat.
