Just returned from watching the Lewis Central game, unfortunately 3* Lewis Central quarterback, Max Duggan had a hand injury and wasn't playing. However, you can tell a lot about a young man and how he conducts himself when he is injured and on the side lines. This young man wasn't standing around watching, he oozes leadership, he was in all the huddles, he was all over the side lines talking and encouraging the quarterback that was taking his place, the running back, the wide receivers, the line men and the defense, even the kicker and punter after they kicked. He was very much into the game, he was like an assistant coach, even sending plays in and helping make calls. I have not gotten a chance to actually see him play yet and am looking forward to it. Lewis Central does have some good skill players around him at running back and wide receivers and they are all sophomores and juniors, very little seniors on the squad, so he should look even better next year as a senior. They also run the same multiple receiver, 1 back read action offense. I can see why Fleck is recruiting him.
