How did we do it?? The thing I like about this board is there are people that remember games 40 years ago. I was so young but a big Gopher fan then and I was running around the house like Minnesota won the national championship when i heard the score.. How did we beat them?? Was Trestman, Carlson, or Avery the QB?? I am guessing Kent Kitzman was the FB at the time. I think the game was at Memorial Stadium but could anyone recollect the day and your feelings on the game??
I am guessing that Michigan had Rick Leach so we must have played great defense in that game. I remember Paul Rogind was the kicker but that is about it.
