Rivals came out with its Class of 2022 rankings this past week, which expanded from seventy-five to one hundred-fifty. The state of Minnesota was well represented with five local prospects making the top 150. Today we will give you more of an idea of what their recruitments look like with offer lists, scoutings reports, and overall summaries of their involvement so far with college programs.

We will also kill two birds with one stone. Four of the the five players have received offers from the Gophers, and the fifth as one from P.J. Fleck and the Gopher football program. So we will look at not only Minnesota natives who made the list, but also Gopher recruits.

Camden Heide

Minnesota offer: Yes

Offer sheet: Cal, Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue, Texas, Wisconsin

Scouting report: "His smooth shooting stroke, ability to score at all three-levels, and basketball IQ will all translate to the next level. When he becomes a more sound ball-handler he'll be able to grab rebounds and take it up the court himself, as well as become a better scorer and creator in isolation. His willingness to go with the flow of the offense limits his opportunities to create for others, but as he garners experience and his usage rate goes up over the next few years I expect his assists numbers to rise as well." - Connor Stevens

His recruitment: Minnesota was the second school to offer Camden Heide. Wisconsin was the first. They were followed by Iowa, Purdue, and Cal. His most recent offer came from Texas on the last day of May. Heide's mom attended the University of Minnesota while his father went to Purdue.

Prince Aligbe

Minnesota offer: Yes

Offer sheet: Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgetown, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, LSU, Marquette, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ohio State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, West Virginia

Scouting report: Prince Aligbe has the physical presence of a college sophomore, not one in high school. Aligbe is a talented athlete whose offensive strength is finishing at the rim and playing in the open floor. He will be an elite defender before he is through. Once he gets a consistent perimeter jumper, any weakness he has will be few and far between.

His recruitment: The Gophers got in early and were one of the first five programs to offer the four-star wing. Aligbe already had an impressive list of invites and COVID-19 hasn't slowed things down. Since March he has picked up new ones from UCLA, Ohio State, Auburn, LSU, USC, Marquette, and Georgetown. This will be a dynamic process before it finally winds down.

Trejuan Holloman

Minnesota offer: Yes

Offer sheet:
Baylor, Iowa, Marquette, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas, Wisconsin

Scouting report: Trejuan Holloman is a pass first point guard who knows how to run a team and see the floor. Our team of national analysts did not get to see him this winter or spring, but the lightning quick guard is going to have plenty of eyes on him when he can get back on the floor.

His recruitment:
Baylor and Texas were the first two schools to offer. Minnesota came across fourteen months ago. There hasn't been a lot of movement as of late. Michigan State was the last program to offer this past October.

Kendall Blue

Minnesota offer
: Yes

Offer sheet: Cincinnati, Iowa, Marquette, Minnesota, Western Illinois

Scouting report: "We have had our eye on Kendall Blue as a potential breakout player for many reasons. He's long, he's athletic and he knows how to get to the rim and finish. His jump shot doesn't look too bad, either, and he's just scratching the surface." - Eric Bossi

His recruitment: Blue's recruitment has slowed down like many throughout the country. The school's who have offered would seem to have a leg up right now, but if you can crack the top one hundred nationally, then all indications are that a busy recruiting cycle won't be far behind.

Eli King

Minnesota offer:
Football, yes; Basketball, no.

Basketball offer sheet: Northern Iowa

The skinny: Eli King may be more noted for his talents on the gridiron. He already has offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, and Notre Dame, but being ranked in the top one-fifty nationally is a feat in it's own right. Caledonia was ranked No. 1 in the state in Class AA when the season was halted. He was. a stat sheet stuffer with 16.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists. He also eclipsed the 1,000 point plateau late in his sophomore season. King says he will eventually pick one sport. If college basketball coaches get the indication that he will stick to the hardwood, expect the floodgates to open. King is also an outstanding student in the classroom.
