Tip-off is at 12:07.
UW-Green Bay is an uptempo team. They have a "RP40" motto (relentless pressure for 40 minutes). We'll see how well that works against an experienced and better team like Minnesota. UWGB finished third in the Horizon League last year and have finished in the top half of the league the past five seasons. This season, however, will likely be different. Green Bay has just four players returning from last year, only one of which averaged double digits, guard Khalil Small (#3). 80% of scoring and 80% of minutes is gone.
Small was a glue guy last year that may have to turn into a prominent scorer this year. He averaged 10.1 points, 5.1 assists, and was named to the Horizon League All-Defense team last year. No other returners averaged more than 3.1 points per game.
Sandy Cohen is a name to know and name many of you probably remember. Sandy was once a Gopher target but committed to Marquette. He's transferred to UW-Green Bay and I would think will be their best player. Cohen's a long, athletic wing/guard.
The rest of Michigan's roster is filled with players who are freshman or have not played Division-I before and transferred to UWGB.
