Ahmarean Brown tells me that Minnesota has been in to see him this week, and also that he will be a part of the Gophers big official visit weekend. Brown is a former Maryland commit who opted out after the Durkin situation unfolded. Brown also got in-home visits from Illinois and UConn. He is definitely one to watch for down the stretch, as the Gophers could look to add one more dynamic playmaking type guy to the class. Minnesota is currently the only visit that he has scheduled, and he said he will decide by the early signing period.
