MN stays unchanged at 37th in the country while Buffalo improved six spots to 131st. Other four MAC teams that played Big 10 opponents ranked from 119 (Akron) to 131 (Ball State). I think Buffalo can beat and/or finish ahead of each of these teams in the MAC this year.
Massey was most impressed with MD (up 26 spots to 50th), RUT (up 16 to 97th), MSU (up 14 to 47th), PUR (up 11 to 94th), IL (up 10 to 84th), NE (up 9 to 34th--a puzzler, to me), IA (up 5 to 26th), MI (up 3 to 3) and IN (up 3 to 68).
OSU (5th), WI (11th) and NW (27th) were unchanged along with MN.
NO Big 10 team underperformed in week one, according to Massey.
Other tidbits include TX (down 17 spots to 50th--not that highly rated to begin with), Wash St. (up 4 to 31st), Ore St (down 3 to 86th) and West Mich (-13 to 40th).
