I can confirm that Minnesota coach Rob Reeves has offered Chelsea (Mich.) wide receiver Bailey Edwards this afternoon.
Bailey is the younger brother of current Gopher Berkley Edwards and the Gophers are his first major offer.
"I called Coach Reeves and he told me that him and the whole offensive staff were excited about me and see me as a big time playmaker for the Gophers hopefully. Every offer I receive is special, but this one does mean a lot though."
I'd love to have sumtimeblu weigh in on this, but I'll have more with Bailey a little later tonight. I'd have to think Minnesota is now the favorite.
