Having looked at this. I have a few questions and comments.

Who is
responsible for scheduling non-conference games? Is it coach Fleck or the AD?
How far out can they actually schedule games?

Now the real reason I started this thread is because it seems to me that we seem to schedule a lot of cream puffs. Now I know that we have had a difficult time in the past with teams that any BIG10 team should win against. But, when coach fleck starts to compete for the BIG10 title on a fairly regular basis and Turns the U into relevancy again instead of a bad much line. along with keeping up the type of recruiting he has done this year. Would it not be in the best interest to start scheduling higher caliber teams? teams such as maybe LSU or Ole miss. Teams like that.
For two reasons I ask this. 1) The more difficult the strength of schedule is. The better consideration is for a top tier bowl games is. Especially if it came down to us and someone with a similar record, but a softer schedule. Is this not so? 2) wouldn't this in turn help out with recruiting? Would this not translate into more and better exposure for the team? Is that not something that kids are also looking for?

Another question I have is. How many games are they allowed to play in a single season? Are we playing the full allotment allowed? I do understand that most school schedule in a bye week for themselves. However It seems that some other school start playing a week earlier than we do.
