I never imagined that North Dakota would abandon prohibition before Minnesota did. However, there’s a great chance that measure 3 will pass tomorrow legalizing cannabis.
For the sake of those suffering from chronic pain and/or those suffering from this horrific opioid epidemic, I hope it passes.
And while this is less important, the tax revenue will be a huge boon to North Dakota just as it’s been for Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and California.
I have to imagine if this passes North Dakota this cycle, then it will end up on the ballot in Minnesota in 2020.
