Michigan and Erik Swenson, a 6'8 OT, sound like they are parting ways. While Michigan fans make it sound like a Foster situation, he has received plenty of postseason accolades that indicate he can play, including being named 2nd-team All-American by MaxPreps. He recently started following coaches at Vandy, University of Colorado, and Iowa. No indication that he has had any contact from the Gophers, but he's from Downers Grove, Illinois, which is about 25 miles from where Coach Miller played in high school. I'm not an oline evaluator to know if he's a fit, but if things start looking bleak on the kasl/castillio/cushenberry front, Swenson might be a tremendous late option.
