I am getting excited for the Gophers.. This season is going to be a great chance to expose the nation to the Gopher program as we are the only college team to play the preseason #1 and #2 in the nation during the regular season.. Exposure in the sense of nationally televised games. I guess you can embrace it or be scared of it so I pray our guys are up to the task.
Our talent level has increased so much under Coach Kill. Who would have thought we would have had a TE that would have left school early to enter the NFL?? Of course, Maxx is a freak of nature with his athleticism and hands. High NFL draft choices out of the program in Hageman as well as Maxx.. Good skill position guys. DBs making NFL rosters. We have come a long way and have a long way to go to reach our goals of winning the Big Ten and getting to a Rose Bowl or even better. And this group starts it a month from today.
Gotta play the best to be the best. "Brick by Brick" is happening in front of our eyes and Coach Kill has fulfilled what he has come to do, and then some.. And the process needs to keep going forward as that will happen on September 3rd on national TV.. Exciting stuff!!!
