Nike: Peach Jam in Augusta, GA

Pulley beat MoKan Elite 56-55 today in a game that came down to the wire. I was able to watch bits and pieces of it online. Ed Conroy was the only Gopher coach in attendance. Pitino is in Milwaukee at the NY2LA event to watch Joseph Hedstrom.
  • Tre Jones had a rough start and trouble finishing at the basket but still always finds ways to bring value to Pulley. One of the best plays of the game was an and-one he had down the stretch. nice and-one down the stretch. Tre had 13 points (5/17 FG, 3/3 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, and a block. Coach K, Oregon, Ohio State, UCLA, and USC were all there to watch Tre. That's everyone that's talking to him other than Arizona, who may have been there too.
  • When I watched, Jarvis Thomas did fine defensively on five-star power forward Jontay Porter. I didn't see him do much offensively. He did airball an NBA three. This is a big weekend for Jarvis and if he doesn't add new interest, I think we'll see a decision soon. He had five points (2/5 FG), three rebounds, three steals, and a block tnoight. Wake Forest wants him bad, and they were in attendance. Wojo was there, and Jarvis has listed Marquette as a school that's frequently in contact. He's heard from Michigan State recently and Tom Izzo was there.
  • Daniel Oturu had a nice block and tip-in when I watched. He finished with 14 points (6/10 FG, 1/4 FT), eight rebounds, a block, and a steal.
  • David Roddy looks comfortable pulling up and shooting deep twos. It will be important for him that he develops that consistent jumper. He had four points (2/5 FG), four rebounds, a block, and a steal. Roddy, by the way, was also just ranked the No. 3 football player in the 2019 class Minnesota by Northstar Football tonight.
  • Gabe Kalscheur was hot early. Defensively, he's tough and works hard but got beat off the dribble from the perimeter because he couldn't move his feet with MoKan's 2 guard. He finished with 22 points (7/12 FG, 5/8 3PT, 3/5 FT), four rebounds, two blocks, and a steal.

Brendan Adams was phenomenal for Team Melo in their win over NY Lightning. He scored 23 (9/11 FG, 5/6 FT) and had three rebounds.

That's a good tweet to see. Adams hasn't handled the ball much when I've seen him play, but that's not to say he can't.

Jake Forrester is back to the court (I believe he was hurt for a while) and scored ten (4/9 FG 2/2 FT) in PSA Cardinals' loss to Bradley Beal Elite (St. Louis).

Keyontae Johnson scored six (3/4 FG) and had four points and three assists in Boo Williams' 73-63 win over Nike Team Florida.

Under Armour: UAA Finals in Atlanta

Grassroots Sizzle fell to Texas Hard Work (San Antonio) 51-48. Jalen Suggs had 12 points (3/15 FG, 5/7 FT), 9 rebounds, and four assists in the loss.

Tyrese Martin scored eight (3/7 FG, 2/3 3PT) and had five rebounds in We-R1's 73-62 win over Team Rio National (NJ).

Adidas: The Adidas Finale starts tomorrow.
