I have clients that apparently had a basement toilet (next to the drain) running 24/7 and going right into the drain and they didn't know about it. They now have a $4000 water bill out of the blue that shocked the heck out of them.
Does anyone know of any insurance or recourse for this or is it simply bad luck?
