Austin Beier was verbal number 8 last year at end of March. Are we over or under that in 37 days?
Sapp early Feb was number 1, then Mayfield and Armstrong midFeb, Teague 2/25, T-Smith 3/10, Okonji 3/25, Richter 3/25, and then Beier to close the month.
This year, a lot more 2019 class groundwork in place over last year and staff really started hitting 2019 hard in Dec and Jan...two commits by Kramer and Williamson got it rolling early...added the long snapper end of January.
New early visit period should push timetable forward and it seems the early signing date will be the signing date moving forward, also pushing verbal timetable forward. I remember Bielema waiting until camp evaluation period before really taking verbals. Now you see Wisconsin much more aggressive early...Fitz really has embraced the early verbals...guessing Frost will be very active all the time.
I would guess the over.
