The Legacy magazine that the U of M puts out for fundraising purposes had a great article on Peter Westerhaus, who was the Gopher linebacker that had to leave football because of ulcerative colitis. It turns out the he received ground breaking treatment at the U and has made substantial progress. He is close to graduating from the Carlson School of Business. He mentioned that Coach Kill called him almost every day while he was going through his months and months of treatment. The article made me proud to be the alum of such a great research university and to have Coach Kill as our coach.
