Richard Pitino
- Give a lot of credit to Wisconsin. I have a lot of respect for those seniors. I thought they played very well. I thought we played very, very poorly in the second half. Very little flow, not confident in what we were doing. We need to learn from it and make sure we address it.
- Koenig does a lot. He comes off a ball screen and pulls and we weren't up to the level of the screen. Now he got cooking too, he's a really good player.
- I think they're probably down after the way they finished the second half. I'm sure they're down right now, and it's my job to get them excited again. As much as we're down, we're one of the best stories in the country. I'm sure tomorrow, I'll wake up and be very, very proud. Tonight I'm not very happy. They need to be proud but realize that if they play like this it will be a quick exit in the Big Ten Tournament.
- I think we played very poor defense in the second half. The execution was very, very poor. We did not play an intelligent game today. I need to watch film and break that down and address that. Some of it was in transition, some of it was in rotation out of a trap. We need to learn from it.
