I apologize for the late summary. He wasn't on for very long:

PJ started off saying this spring has been a lot different in the fact that everyone knows the system and knows how to practice, so it has been smoother so far.

There are a few players that redshirted last year that will have to help us this season. Chris Bell, Demetrius Douglas, Ray Estes are three players he named specifically as guys that will have to play. Also mentioned Thomas Rush again as somebody that’ll contribute.

On Tanner Morgan, “He’s gotten a lot better. I give Kirk Ciarrocca a lot of credit. You can see Tanner (Morgan) improving whether it is decision-making, accuracy, leadership, knowing the scheme. He’s on calculus right now instead of last year he was in beginning algebra. He’s getting a lot better that way.”

It is a big advantage getting in early where kids can understand what it is like to take classes, practice, and get in to the weight program. PJ gave credit to the seven kids that enrolled early to adapting quickly. The coaches do let the early enrollees go back to graduation or different high school events (prom, for example). He wants them to experience those milestones.

The two running backs from the 2018 class, Bryce Williams and Nolan Edmonds, will be asked to play especially with Shannon Brooks out. Mo Ibrahim is another back that PJ mentioned as someone that runs hard despite his short status. Jonathon Femi-Cole he brought up as a big back that has some strength.

Connor Olson, Jared Weyler, Donnell Greene, Sam Schlueter are all players that are coming into their own and Fleck believes the offensive line has had the biggest growth in the weight room this offseason.

PJ is still talking as if Demetrius Douglas and Antoine Winfield Jr. will receive medical redshirt years, however an announcement won’t come for a while.

The coaching staff is always recruiting for years beyond the one in front of them. Coach thinks that with the new recruiting rules that there will be more commitments later on since recruits can take earlier official visits. Each kid is allowed five, so the more open period will have an impact on how coaches strategically plan out their class.
