PJ Fleck
- The pressure on Croft got to him a little bit. He maybe got out of the pocket a little too soon in the second half. Part of the problem is sitting in second and 10 and second and 11 against a top 10 pass defense. They covered us good; we couldn't create separation in space. When you can't get separation against man coverage, that's tough.
- The runs came spitting out because of a lot of missed tackles. We had a lot of people miss a ton of tackles.
- There was a lot more pressure off the edge in the second half, and there were some lineman who haven't played much before, so we got whooped.
- On Donnell Greene's ejection: That's not our culture. 100% unacceptable, he'll have to pay the price for that.
- They had a really good defense and we couldn't create separation. Thought we were able to create things here and there but there's no consistency, no flow to the game.
- Wanted to come away with points and hadn't been able to get many yards on the previous play so that's why he kicked the field goal at the end on fourth and four.
- Michigan's defense is very, very, very talented everywhere. We knew we'd struggle against their defensive line. We're one of the most inexperienced and youngest football teams and everyone gets on me about that, but that's reality when you're going to go against these grown men. We haven't had the chance to get strong enough on the line. We had a chance to go max protect, but then there are only two running routes.
- Didn't take Celestin out because of his effort or leadership. You could tell his performance was hindered by his elbow. Thought Blake Cashman played really well.
