- Found a way to make winning plays, free throws, and rebounds.
- Eric Curry made winning plays. There's a lot to be excited about with him. He's a tough kid.
- At the end, do you foul? Do you not foul? I'll take my chances with an NBA three.
- They need to stop getting to overtime. It's driving me crazy. I'm exhausted. They've been at home so maybe concessions are up.
- It's cliche but they don't seem to get too high or too low. I think a lot of that has to do with Nate Mason. They're a very mentally tough group. They just care about winning. I haven't had any issues with egos. They're a fun group to couch.
- For a freshman, I think Eric's way ahead of where you think he'd bit. He can hit mid-range shots, he can hit threes. I'm really excited about him.
- McBrayer was huge. He hasn't been playing well and I've kept on him about staying confident. He's a good player. He just had a little funk. Good teams have this depth.
- I talked to Murphy and he listened, embraced his role, and now he's playing great basketball. It's exciting that he's only a sophomore.
- Amir's a tough kid. He's quiet so he's not emotional, but he's really, really tough.
- We really put an emphasis on really pounding the glass, and we always put an emphasis on getting to the free throw line.
- We just knew we had to stay composed and confident in overtime.
- Eric was terrific in the second half. He's a hard worker. He gets to the gym whenever he can. He religiously gets to the gym. It's helped with his mid-range jump shot.
- That early three helped with my confidence.
- Coach talks about how the little things win in this league. Rebounding wins in this league. We can't get too high or too low and have to stay focused.
- Walking around campus we get a lot of "go gophers, get this win" and last year we didn't really get that.
