- We didn't deserve to win the football game. Not deep enough, don't have enough talent top to bottom. Had to pull some redshirts. Maryland's had some great recruiting classes. We had a lot of young players step up but there are no moral victories.
- Maryland's really athletic and we didn't make plays in space. We had them stopped in a few instances and then we didn't finish and wrap up.
- Everything falls on me. Need to do a better job of coaching.
- Only 2-3 other times when Rhoda should have kept. A linebacker would be pulled over and we've changed up schemes so it can be hard to see from the naked eye. The line didn't play as well as they should have.
- Winfield out hurts us a lot, but we're going to play our best and expect to play at a high, high level.
- McGhee: If you don't do the right things, you're not going to play. Will make the call as we go forward.
- Content looking back at decision to play against the hail mary at the end of the first half. It's a trade-off of hail mary or medium yardage.
- Didn't play well on offense, defense, or special teams. 100% the coach's responsibility.
- Thought the team played extremely hard. Depth issues make it tough. Never questioned how hard we played.
- Had a gameplan going in with Winfield against Moore. Decided to play more base defense.
- Maryland's quick game was very good. We dropped more in coverage and stunted more than usual.
- Demetrious Douglas will be out for a significant amount of time. Hoping for a medical redshirts for some guys.
- Very proud of our students. Love the atmosphere at TCF Bank Stadium. Proud of the Goldy staff, the fans, and the environment.
- Know the team will respond in a positive way this week.
- There may have been more opportunities to keep it but it's always a feel thing. I need for them to show me a reason to keep it. I trust Rodney and Shannon so much. It's a feel of the game. There may have been more times to keep it. We'll learn from the film.
- Can sit in the pocket and take hits when need be.
- Might have noticed Demetrious Douglas' absence a little bit, but Phillip Howard is right there skill-wise and trusts him just as much. Feels very comfort with whomever is out there.
- Maryland tried to throw a lot of different looks and tried to disguise things.
- Coach has made it very obvious that the result is not what we focus on as much as the process, but we obviously don't like the result. We'll watch film tomorrow and change our best.
- Need to run the ball better next week. There were times when we were beating ourselves with one guy not doing their job. We need to finish drives and limit mistakes.
- The touchdown was probably his second favorite catch ever after his first career touchdown.
