I know I will get crucified on the Minnesota board for this, but I wanted to see Brevin Pritzl healthy and playing basketball for Wisconsin.. I have read so many places how good of a shooter he was in HS. He injured his foot before he set foot on Wisconsin's campus as a student.. Now he re-injured the foot and is out indefinitely.. I will always cheer for the Gophers but I am a big fan of good basketball and like to see good players healthy, even if its an archrival.
Foot injuries are NEVER good for a basketball player... Pritzl is a guard so he is doing a lot of stop/starting with his feet. On defense, fighting through or going underneath/over the top on screens, staying in front of his man, chasing a cutting opponent, closing out on a shooter, boxing out, transitioning to offense. Certainly, driving to the basket, cutting and moving without the ball, and shooting all need good feet. The game is just hard on the feet so here is to hoping he has a good recovery.
