As mn fans we all would love QB stability, foreeseabilty, depth etc. And even then there is the usual angst that the backup QB may be better (backup QB is always best player on team).

Just focusing upon QB Recruits during Fleck short tenure: Morgan (as an aside he just seems smaller than advertised when near him in practice), Armstrong, Bachmeier, Mertz etc, it seems there could be legit excitement generating from the QB position. Assuming normal competition, reasonable injuries, development and progression, they could stabilize the position, and lift significant anxiety from us, raise program. And yes I know only one of those young men is currently signed, wearing MN maroon and gold. But feeling good if most of this comes to fruition.

I defer to the historians to reflect upon possible MN QB corps that had quality and depth.

It is possible to build a competitive QB stable of QBs.

Vinny Testaverde, Kyle Vanderwende, Jim Kelly, Mark Richt and Bernie Kosar (my iPad is being temperamental, and can’t currently insert in the obligatory picture).

Looking back, putting together such a QB crew way back when amazes me. Yes it was a different world and yes Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I am not anointing the MN hopefuls as being the 1980s hurricanes. Just pointing out It would be great, possible to layer in QB talent.

As a D guy that lived to try to hit QBs I will just shut up, hang up and listen. Assuming even any speak.
