Random question...why do the B12 defenses suck so bad?

Is it that the offense's are that awesome ?

Is it that no team but K State has a DC worth a crap ?

I don't have the answers. But living down here, it is so weird watching Nebraska vs. wisconsin and then watching texas vs. Baylor.

Why can't these teams, with all the great recruiting, play an ounce of defense.
