As Littlefinger already posted, the Gophers received 15 points in the Coaches Poll and thee in the AP Poll.

Minnesota’s No. 39 in the latest S&P+ rankings and 27 in TeamRankings. TeamRankings predicts the Gophers will go 8.2-3.8 this year and gives Minnesota a 94.9% chance to make a bowl game. Keep in mind that TR likes Minnesota more than S&P+.

The Gophers are 12.5-point favorites over Maryland in Las Vegas. Computer predictions typically match or are very close to the opening Vegas line, and that’s the case here, which is surprising considering that I’m sure the predictions don’t appropriately account for Maryland being without Hill.

S&P+: Minnesota No. 39, Maryland No. 66
TeamRankings: Minnesota No. 27, Maryland No. 54
TeamRankings prediction: Minnesota 31.4, Maryland 19.1 (Minnesota by 12.3)
TeamRankings: 84.9% chance of Minnesota victory
NumberFire prediction: Minnesota 29.9, Maryland 17.5 (Minnesota by 12.4)
