Benson was offered by the Gophers today and tells me that he's already got an official visit set up to check out the program. He'll be in Minneapolis June 13 weekend. He's also got a visit to Iowa scheduled for June 6 weekend and Iowa State June 20 weekend.
There is a chance that he'll set an official with Wisconsin too but that isn't locked in.
"I’m looking for a school that actually sees me in their schemes and is family oriented," Benson said. "I want to go to a school where the bond is very tight like a brotherhood and where it is not full of ego filled people who are all worried about NIL. I’m looking for a school who just wants to play football and win games as a family."
