Minnesota is the latest offer for Johnson, who is interested in visiting sometime this summer, but a lot will depend on his father's work schedule before he locks in visits.
Johnson said he had been communicating with Gophers senior defensive analyst Dennis Dottin-Carter before Winston DeLattiboudere extended an offer.
"I'm very interested in Minnesota," Johnson said. "I want to figure out if I can schedule a visit, it's just hard because of my Dad's schedule. I've been talking to Coach Dot for around two months and I recently spoke with the D-line coach yesterday."
At 6-foot-4, 210-pounds, Johnson has the physical tools that Minnesota is looking for in a defensive end.
"(He likes) my twitch and my first step from which Coach Dot came to see me."
Other schools in the mix for Johnson are Kansas, Oklahoma State, Cal, Boise State, and Houston.
