CU beat Stanford in Pac12 men's hoops today, 64-56. Reid Travis had 10 points/6 rebounds, falling a bit short of his season averages of 19.4 pts/7.8 reb.

McKinley Wright IV also had 10 pts/6 reb for CU, but added 7 assists. Wright's season averages are 14.7/4.4/5.3.

I don't report this to renew the argument over whether MN should/could have taken MW over IW, but because I enjoy following how MN players perform at other programs.

I would like to point out, however, that when Wright was having early season success, the unreformed Opester essentially argued that Wright's success was illusory because CU was playing lousy teams.

CU is now 7-6 in the Pac12 and Wright is running the team as a pure freshman PG, and performing well on a competitive team.
