A little down time before hitting the road today. Interesting to see that Kill only had 4 flips from 13-15. In 2016 we lost some good players, though some have been headaches at their current schools.
2013
Nate Godwin ended up going to USF and playing S. He was a 4 year starter for the Bulls
Nate Andrews was one that still stings. Gophers thought they could keep him a hidden gem, buy FSU came in late and flipped him. His FR and SO years were his best as a Nole, earning FR All American in 2013. In 15 he was injured and only started 4 games, in 16 he was injured again and got a medical RS. In 17 he was never the same and played mainly as a backup.
2014
Khari Blasingame decommitted and ended up at Vandy. We were after him at S, he ended up being a RB for the Vols. Just shy of 1000 yards in his career
2015
Alonzo Brown WR changed his commitment and ended up playing one year at W Kentucky, no stats and no clue where he ended up after that.
2016
Sean Foster 4* OL was pushed out and ended up at Iowa St. After RS as a FR, he started 6 games at RT in 17 and moved to LT this year and has been primarily a backup.
Dredrick Snelson WR was never coming to MN, so not touching him
Tony Poljan was being recruited as QB by Limey. Claeys dumped him at QB and he ended up at Central Michigan as a QB/WR. In 17 he played in 7 games and this year he played extensively at both quarterback and wide receiver, completed 76 of 147 pass attempts for 625 yards and two touchdowns … ran 64 times for 123 yards … caught seven passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. An interesting mix of stats. Looks like Limey had another Leidner here
Andre Polk OLB flipped to USF, RS in 16, started the first game as a RS FR in 17 and was lost for the year to injury. He has no stats for this year
Matt Kegel OL got his but kicked on a recruiting visit to MN and flipped to Okie Lite shortly after. RS in 16 and backup the past 2 years.
Tralund Webber JUCO DE also flipped to OK St. Had 6 sacks and 9 TFL as a JR and was a backup as a SR.
Elijah Battle another JUCO ended up at WVU and as a JR he started 3 games. As a SR he started every game and had 48 tackles. He camped with the Cardinals and SeaChickens this year
Jovanny Garcia DT from East Ridge battled demons and ended up committing suicide
Daniels Twins Flipped to Maryland and then left there because Durkin was a jerk. Both were reserves for MD. No update as to where they will end up.
2017 had a bunch of push outs/flips after the coaching change. Biggest names are Kyrei Fisher LB to Arky, but announced in Sept he was leaving. Joshua Croslen DT is a 2 year backup for Bowling Green. Bryson Jackson LB for Baylor was a RS in 17 and injured this year. Corey Gaynor flipped to Da U and was a RS and backup. OC Brett Kitrell was moved to DT at Ohio. OG Jimmie Terry doesn't look like he is winning his weight battle at So Miss, he is still listed over 370...though he was a starter this year and has 1 year left. I thought Javan Hawes was legit at WR, but in 2 years at Cincy he only has 12 receptions.
