From Hawkeye Report:
- Proud of the guys, we fought. Seem to be playing 27-28 minutes and then can't break through. Took Dupree out and he kept asking to go back in but he was noticeably limping so his minutes were limited. Isaiah, Davonte, and Michael made the most of their minutes. It's hard when your best player is 2/13.
- Amir and Gas not playing were gametime decisions. They're day-to-day.
- Isaiah is playing hard. He did what we hoped he'd do. He's disciplined in practice and it's carrying over.
- Tyler Cook could be a monster in the Big Ten.
- Doesn't want to make excuses. Wants the guys to play with great energy, stay tough, and stick together and he thinks they've done that.
