Roddrick Bryant says he'd like to commit in the next couple of weeks, but he hasn't visited anywhere, and he doesn't have any visits set. That's a little fishy because you think that (a) he'd want to set visits this time and (b) staffs would want him to visit if they wanted him.
So that's why it's still relevant that the Gophers are talking to him. Dredrick Snelson has a quote saying that he'll pick between Minnesota and Miami on his mom's birthday, December 3rd. Maybe Tyler Johnson goes elsewhere, or Drew Hmielewski rides more no-hitters to a high MLB draft choice. I don't even think the staff necessarily really wants/needs another receiver, but if they do, Bryant is there, and he's also a backup plan in case anything above happens.
