I forget the details of Fleck's comment regarding how young the Gophers are, and my purpose isn't to challenge or disagree with him. In reviewing the current team rosters for Minnesota, Wisky, and Iowa, I found the following breakdown:
MN 76 FR/SO 36 JR/SR
WI. 79 FR/SO 36 JR/SR
IA. 68 FR/SO 41 JR/SR
Overall, more upper classmen at Iowa, with Gophs and Skunks virtually the same. Obviously this is a broad brush comparison and does not take into account actual playing experience, class position among the 2-deeps, or unreported roster changes. Still doesn't appear we are at a significant disadvantage in overall roster experience with our border rivals.
