Tommy Rush and Alex Reigelsperger were all state players in division 1 for Ohio High School.. The Division 1 team was revealed about an hour ago. Rush, a LB from Marysville(northwest of Columbus) was 2nd team all state in Ohio... He played on an average team but he camped fantastic last summer.. I think that James Franklin gave PJ Fleck a "heads up" on this kid after a Penn State camp as I dont think the Nittany Lions had any room for him at the LB spot for their team. Fleck offered and Rush committed... I hear with better players around him, he could be a good playmaker.. May need to gain a little weight.

Reigelsperger was 3rd team all state as a DE from Huber Heights Wayne(northeast of Dayton). Got a lot of upside so he is one to watch..

FIRST TIME EVER IN OHIO......MR FOOTBALL.......Joey Baughman who is a QB at Wadsworth HS( a town and school just west of Akron) won the award..... Baughman is a DIvision 1 college WRESTLING RECRUIT at University of Virginia .He will be the first Ohio HS MR FOOTBALL to NOT play college football...Very interesting but he had some huge stats as a QB so he deserves it as much as anyone.

Wrap your mind around this.... Brennan Armstrong is going to Virginia as a scholarship QB from Ohio yet on Virginia's wrestling team, Baughman is also from Ohio as Mr Football at the QB position in the same graduating class.... Kinda weird that 2 kids from Ohio are going to Virginia that were both QBs in the same class, yet the MR FOOTBALL is the one NOT playing on a D1 football scholarship.
