The brother of Bakary Konate told us tonight:
"I have set visits. Wichita State, George Mason, Purdue, maybe Minnesota"
Minnesota looks like a potential later visit if some other targets are not secured.
Visits set: Shamorie Ponds, Eric Curry, Frankie Hughes, Michael Hurt
Waiting on Dates: Amir Coffey, Reed Nikko, Kevin Marfo, Sagaba Konate.
The bottom four are the guys to watch for in terms of dates. At last check none of them had set dates yet and we talked to them all just less than a week ago (Sagaba today).
Anybody else? I'm sure they have a couple in mind but as far as known targets go, I'm not quite sure who it would be. Most that I thought it could be have set visits (or committed) elsewhere are already.
Also, tough to do to much recruiting when you are in Spain. They can of course message and calls can be made, but of course there is no visiting that will take place in mid-August and they are overseas coaching and supervising so there are quite busy now too.
