Minnesota freshman Eric Schierhorn has been named the 2016 Big Ten Goaltender of the Year, along with being named a First Team All-Big Ten honoree and a Big Ten All-Rookie Team.
Minnesota also added three Second Team All-Big Ten honorees in Justin Kloos, Hudson Fasching and Michael Brodzinski while Jake Bischoff was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention and Minnesota’s Sportsmanship Award winner.
