I heard the possibility or desire for Syndegaard of the Mets for a couple of our prospects.. I have read anything from Royce Lewis and Alex Kiriloff as ones we would trade to Nick Gordon to Trevor Larnach to Brusdar Graterol. I know the logic is you dont know if those prospects will ever turn out and if you can get an established star, then pull the trigger.... The Twins are young in general terms so guys like Lewis and Kiriloff may take awhile to get to the big leagues in the Twins organization, anyways. Do you think we should "pull the trigger" to get a big name pitcher?? I wish we could be in the market for relief pitchers more than starter, to be honest.. I am ok with trading Gordon as I dont think he would be as good as what Arraez is now for the Twins.. Just no place for Gordon to go on the Twins.. Minnesota has a lot of OF prospects so maybe one of those guys.

Personally, I would not mind if Minnesota tried to trade Schoop right now.. I think Arraez is ready to step in right now. I dont think anyone in their right mind would trade a star pitcher for Schoop and Gordon without a top prospect or 2 being packaged in the deal from the Twins. Minnesota will probably stay put, which makes me sad.. I would love to get a solid relief pitcher for this stretch run as I think we are a pitcher or 2 away from competing for the World Series this year.
