In all seriousness, can the mods dig on this and find out what the heck happened? Surely part of the deal in taking him last year didn’t involve the consideration of possibly grad transferring before he played a game.
Did he just plain suck in practice so Pitino didn’t care if he left (regardless of whether we got Crandall)?
Did Crandall give Pitino a strong indication he’d come if there was a spot, so Pitino gave Matz a nudge? And then Geno backed out?
