1. Lots of drops on both sides in the 1st half.
2. Winfield may have won Special Teams POW for the return but did he recover that punt in the 1st quarter after it hit one of our guys? That was a huge momentum saver.
3. Kiondre Thomas is our weakest link on D. He is just a step slow to be a P5 DB.
4.. Kamal Martin and Gary Moore are not P5 quality .Cashman and Coughlin are P5 studs.
5. Bateman is FAST .
6. Ko Kieft had a bad game. He gets worked on pass blocking and he had a penalty or 2 called on him as well. He seems to have slow reaction time IMHO.
7. OJ Smith was heralded because of his Bama background. He is not that good. He is so slow and on top of that, he doesn't bullrush with strength either.
8. Our WRs do a great job of downfield blocking.
9. Love the Seth Green wildcat.
10. Smith reads the running lane holes so well.
11. Best WR corp we have had since the Wacker days .
12. Love that Fleck gave the team a D+ at halftime.
13. How many WR screens / quick passes did we run ? I. Love. It. Get the ball (quickly) into the hands of our playmakers.
14. I need to say it again, K. Thomas is our weakest link. Thank God NMSU has a bad QB and the WRs had the drops. He keeps getting beat and he keeps waiving his arms "incomplete" despite having NOTHING to do with it being incomplete. Fresno State is going to light him up .
15. Annexstad played well. My only issue is we were off on the deep ball .That will get corrected.
