- Chatted a little bit with McDonald, who recently picked up an offer from the Gophers. He told me he's really interested in the program and talk with Fleck often. The three-star prospect is up to 20 offers now, other notable programs involved include LSU, Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida State, and others. He is the 10th running back Minnesota has offered in the 2022 class.
- McGuire is a prospect that Minnesota hasn't pulled the trigger on yet, but he talks with offensive line coach Brian Callahan on a weekly basis, which isn't a surprise with the Chicago connection. McGuire has 17 total offers currently with the likes of Arizona State, Cal, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Oregon, and others involved.
