i remember him as a surprise backup QB for America’s team years ago. A little known nobody from nowhere somehow sticking in the big league. Then he somehow becomes a starter and then a star. Now he’s a superb broadcaster on the biggest stage announcing the Super Bowl. The thing is, he is really a very talented guy. Just in passing (pun intended), he mentioned he wants to get into coaching. Does he go directly into an OC position in the pros? Can he make the jump into a HC position in college before jumping into the NFL? Can he jump directly into a NFL HC job with no coaching experience? After watching Kliff Kingsberry get hired by the local (pathetic) Cardinals and a QB coach with HC experience at any level take the Browns job (Kitchens) ... I’m thinking Tony Romo might just be able to make the jump (successfully?). Maybe Jerry Jones finally sick of Jason Garrett’s mediocrity and plugs in his pal Romo ... Thoughts?
