Richard Pitino
- Opportunity to get another game in and give back for a good cause.
- Amir Coffey has had a really productive summer and fall and is primed for a great year. Only knock on Amir is that he's not assertive enough, but today he was assertive and really good. Big guard that can pass and shoot and we need him to score.
- Defense in the second half wasn't very good. We were tinkering and trying some things.
- Thinks it's realistic to have 5-6 guys averaging double digits this year.
- BK made a lot of good catches today in the second half and Isaiah will throw bullets at you.
- Reggie has to be smarter with fouls. The over the back foul was avoidable. The other two were iffy.
- Isaiah was terrific. He was great in the open court and that's his game.
- Didn't run a lot of plays or sets. Kind of let Isaiah run free in the second half.
- Jamir Harris plays hard. He's a really good three-point shooter, and I think he can be a terrific defender. He plays hard and wants to win.
- Nate's body is in good shape and is playing with confidence. He's a man on a mission right now.
- One of the beautiful things of living here five years is meeting special people who are willing to give back and see the big picture.
- Hurt is scraping, fighting hard, is a high IQ player. He's probably the best cutter on the team.
- In favor of adding another exhibition games. Don't get a ton out of the maroon-gold games because there aren't many subs. Games like these are awesome when the money goes to charity. Seems like a no-brainer, thinks NCAA will go through with it.
- Been working in practice on not taking possessions off and staying aggressive.
- Still spends time working out with his dad. Also trains with the team and a strength and conditioning coach.
- Bringing in local talent is exciting and necessary for the program. Excited for the locals to sign.
- Team has more chemistry this year at this point than they did last year.
