Viramontes RCC team handed first loss by Mt. SAC:
The uncharted territory for RCC this 2017 campaign came complete with the unfamiliar sight of Viramontes on his back and the Mounties’ defense in his head. Viramontes, who accounted for RCC’s first touchdown on a 2-yard run not four minutes into the game, suffered through his worst game as a Tiger: getting sacked four times, completing 7 of 19 passes for 46 yards and running for only 52 yards on 16 carries. He was lifted for Travis Jonsen on RCC’s second series of the second half, but returned for the Tigers’ final series.
