First impressions:
-Looks very accurate of what we were projecting heading into the season.
-Interesting that there are no corners or safeties listed, just five defensive back spots.
-Rodney at kick returner again with Mo Ibrahim. He has returned a kick for a touchdown last two years. Just worried about him getting hurt there.
-Terrell Smith starting at one of the corner spots, with C.J. Smith as his backup.
-Lots if youth in backup OL spots, DB and of course at QB.
-Bateman is an outright starter at WR on the outside. CAB behind Tyler.
-Seth Green is Bateman’s immediate backup at WR, so he is a pass catcher only now. Interested to see how well he blocks out wide.

Surprises:
-Williamson looks to be a backup at a safety spot, behind Jacob Huff. Have to wonder if that’s accurate.
-Winfield at punt returner. Thought it would be either Douglas or Shenault, but Winfield is a playmaker and will have the opportunity to showcase his all-around ability. With him at the nickel/safety spot already, and now at punt returner, he is quite literally in a Jabrill Peppers type role.
