Let me preface my remarks by saying I never thought the Gophers would contend for the West title. I did expect they'd be competitive. Wow, was I wrong I can't help but think any Offensive minded recruit is having 2nd thoughts after watching the coaching/play calling in this game. The frivolous use of the direct snap to Smith way too many times, no screens or shovel pass? Ciarroca's playbook could fit on an index card. My God, what are we paying this clown?
