In his first season, he led the Gophers to an 8-10 Big 10 record and were the NIT Champions.
Year 2, his team went 6-12 in the Big 10, 18-15 overall.
Year 3, he led the Gophers to an 2-16 Big 10 record, 8-23 overall.
Year 4 saw him win the Big 10 Coach of the Year, lead the Gophers to a 11-7, 24-10 overall, #5 seed in the NCAA tournament and lose in the 1st round.
Year 5, saw the team ranked in the top 15 in the preseason poll, only to go 4-14, 15-17 overall, and lose to freakin Rutgers in the Big 10 tournament.
In the 5 years, he has gotten 2 extensions. He has seen a player kicked off the team for beating the crap out of his girlfriend, a player kicked off the team for multiple accusations of sexual assault, and a player kicked off the team for videotaping and tweeting out a video of he and two teammates gang banging a chick.
He has recruited at an average level, but has missed out on practically every top player from the state of Minnesota in his 5 years.
