Did a little checking with my sources and between everything that is needed to get into the University of Minnesota academic transcript and test score wise the young man was going to have a lot of trouble getting in and I guess the risk wasn't going to be worth the very small chance of him actually getting in. Sounds like this wasn't admissions which has of course been a past frustration.
